Apple Ford Shakopee Minnesota is a VERY BAD place to buy a vehicle! This is one of many complaints I will write. I have a 2014 Ford focus we bought there, accessorized at Apple Ford, and serviced there and have been in there FIVE times over the last two years for the transmission. We were lied to by the service lady, stating the transmission clutch only, was covered for 100,000 miles, no deductible. Only to find out, today 5/8/2019, for the 1st time, it isn't. So we get a deductible to pay, every time we go in! Then talking to Brian, who stated in a recorded phone call today, "I can make any decisions I want here", and I asked "even over the service manager Kevin", he said: "well, I can". That's recorded. If tho he has this power and authority, he didn't do anything but tell me, it will never be fixed right, it's a Ford design issue, and not their problem. Furthermore, my wife, who dropped off the car every time, was never told about ANY deductible, told what they did to "fix" it, told that it wasn't covered, or told that it can never be fixed. They threatened if I didn't pay up, they would keep the car. (I will challenge the charge on my credit card statement.) I asked why, if he's telling me AFTER 5 times it will never be fixed there, he didn't tell us this from the BEGINNING, or after the 1st time, or 2nd, or any time thereafter! So someone was VERY dishonest and I feel cheated. But I'm not surprised as Apple Ford Shakopee falls under the rest of the dealerships as dishonest salespeople and incompetent service department. I did ask, if it will never be fixed, and we have to keep paying money, what should we do? He said, "Buy a new car". Ok, Apple Ford Shakopee Minnesota, so the certified one you sold us, apparently is a bad "apple" and that's your solution? We will, this summer as planned, just NOT from Apple Ford....or even a Ford at all now. Sad, we will never go back, and the company that I own, will suggest all customers to have their cars taken somewhere else. Sorry, but I can't consciously let others get destroyed by dishonest people at Apple Ford. BBB, state of MN, Ford corporate, ripoff report, and many other complaints will be written. I will get answers as to why one guy said he has authority over managers, and why we were lied to about this "certified" car and extended warranty, and the Ford clutch warranty...then told...."it will never be fixed right" by TWO people there AND Why we were lied to by the service department, AND/OR the sales lady.

Apple Ford - 2014 Ford F-150 Review from Washington, District Of Columbia

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
A real unprofessional bunch of twits. Bought a 2014 F-150 in Dec.2014. Great truck! Sales/ Finance dept.not good at all. After one week after delivery, Salesman called and said, That I Didn't qualify for one of the rebates. That I needed to come back in and sign a new contract. Did so, but had reservation about it. Almost 6 weeks go buy. And I get another call saying that they forgot to take the rebate off the second contract. And that I would now have to sign a third one. Bell's and whistles going off big time now. Took my second contract to a friend that is a sales manager for another dealership. He tells me I shouldn't have agreed to sign the second one. It's their problem, and they had an unfunded vehicle out. Bottom line if I didn't like the interest rate I had agreed to. Take the contract back after 6 weeks and see if they would rip it up and rewrite a new one to accommodate your wishes. Long story short I signed the third contract because I Loved the truck.

Apple Ford - Car Quote Review from Owings Mills, Maryland

This dealer is a joke. Sales men are dishonet. The finance manger is a ripoff. You get a quote for a car and when you go to sign the contract if you don't pay attention you will not notice it is an other price that you negotiated before. If you ask for a copie ofthe contract to take it home to study it, you will not get it. Sometimes they will even make you sign 2 contract with diferent rates and give you the car to take home and if for some reason you don't show up on time to finalize the deal and to sign the contract that you didnt even read before, they will send the higher apr contract to the bank and guess what you have to pay that car with a higher rate and there is no way of going back or cancel. BE AWARE and do not sign anything unless you read what you signing at.

Bad Vehicle, Bad Attitude

Submitted a $500 deposit which was cashed immediately, but I had NO vehicle from them. When I got the vehicle (2wks later), drove off the lot, car broke down less than 4 hours of having it. Asked for a "loaner"..the manager told me,"We didn't come to your door looking for your business, you came to us". Took them a week to pick the vehicle up, (now 2weeks later) still haven't received my $500 return check! They were rude and unprofessional. I hope no one else have to go through this. Everyone Please ,Please just BE AWARE of these guys.

Would not resolve issue to my satisfaction.

AV Ford claims they were not responsible for engine seize 2 blks after leaving from an oil change. They were willing to give me $1000 on a trade or $200 from a salvage yard. I found a mechanic that would put in a used engine for $1000 and asked Apple Vally Ford to split the cost. They declined and I so asked for them to tow the car back to my mechanic. I am out an oil change and an engine, and they have lost a customer. Been with them since 1989. Now done and will tell everyone that listens.

Thank you for reviewing. I am about to purchase another new car, and researching dealerships. Having spent thousands on cars for over 50 years, this dealership won't get a dime of my money!

Angry @ Apple Ford They are refusing to fix my car.

I have a 2007 Roush Mustang, bought it new. Appears my mustang has a suspension and or strut problem, since purchase. This is my second trip to the dealer to attempt to correct this ongoing problem. At 13,000 miles my tires were cupped and horrible vibration. They basically offered me prices for new tires and sent me on my way. Totally shocked, I have had many new cars in my time and if ever a problem it is corrected. Cooper tires replaced my original tires at no cost. Today, my car is at Apple Ford, been there for one month. Same problem as stated above. So by putting on new tires the vibration went away, basically the tires covered up the problem for a little while. In 8,000 miles the new tires look like the old ones along with the vibration. Ford says they are not paying for the tires. In my opinion the mechanical problem ruined the tires. Apple ford had agreed to fix the problem if I paid for an alignment and if the new alignment numbers matched the old ones. I supplied the alignment numbers and they matched. Wow, I was home free. Now my car will be fixed, yeah right! The fix needs to start with the tires and Ford will not pay for them. So I am right back where I started. I will never ever purchase another FORD as long as I live and I will tell my friends the same. FORD=Found On Road Dead!! Very Sad

Same problem with 2008 Mercury Mariner. ALL 4 tires worn unevenly and have to be replaced every 10k miles.

I have just under 60k and I am going on my 5th set of tires.

Mercury refuses to acknowlege that there is a problem so they dont have to fix it at their cost. And yes it is still under warranty until Nov 2012.
